Opalescence Teeth Whitening - Comparison
I want to start off by saying that I have not personally used Opalescence Teeth Whitening gel or the trays. I found something else called Idol White before I found Opalescence. However, I am completely satisfied with my decision, mainly because what I used is quite a bit cheaper.
Anyway, Opalescence is one option I would say is a pretty good option if you prefer to be able to go directly to a store and buy your trays and gel and walk out with them. However, if you consider yourself to be a bargain shopper, then I suggest you shop around.
Opalescence teeth whitening systems generally run about $50 for a 1 month supply, so depending on how long you want to be whitening your teeth, in the long run, you could end up spending almost as much as it would cost you to go to a dentist to get trays and gel. Also, the $50 is for if you shop around and find a bargain. Most places may cost you a little more.
Comparing Opalescence teeth whitening systems to options like in-office teeth whitening is simple, because opalescence is obviously a lot cheaper. Compare your $50 a month to about $650 per visit. It is pretty fast, but definitely not cheaper.
As far as ingredients go, a lot of the leading brands, including opalescence teeth whitening systems, have ingredients that are very similar. The active ingredient is carbamide peroxide, which is mixed with some form of generic gel. So, Idol White which is what I use, and Opalescence teeth whitening gels are essentially the same thing.
When it comes down to it, I would much prefer to buy a product that has a 1 month free trial and a 90 day unconditional return policy on anything I buy. That's why I went with Idol White. However, if you would prefer to have to pay for that first month of use, you can feel free to use Opalescence.
How Much Does Teeth Whitening Cost?
If you have taken the time to look into teeth whitening, you have probably already found that it can take a whole lot of time and money to get your teeth whitened using certain techniques. You have probably also found that there are some products or techniques out there that are priced quite a bit lower.
Because I was able to get a fair amount of research done on how much teeth whitening cost, I was able to find some pretty decent deals and really improve the appearance of my teeth at the same time. In my opinion, the option I used is the best thing out there right now.
Anyway, here is a breakdown of some of the teeth whitening costs based on a few methods that are currently available to the public:
Professional Teeth Whitening Trays w/ Gel: $200 - $400
In-office teeth whitening cost: $650 per visit (average)
Do-It-Yourself Teeth Whiting Cost: $20 - $100
As you can see, there a lot of different teeth whitening cost options from which you can choose. However, you are not guaranteed the same results from each option. Some are most definitely better than others.
I personally went with the Idol White system, which actually comes with a one month free trial and is guaranteed to work. I just paid for the shipping, which is a couple dollars. If you buy it and end up not liking it for whatever reason, you can return the product within 90 days for a full refund. Also, if you cancel before the trial is up, you never even get charged anything else and you don't have to order any more product.
Anyway, I recommend checking out the Idol White page and getting a free trial. I know that I was seeing results well before the free trial was even over.
